Definition

  • The Kiptr application allows for collaboration from within the outside of an organizational unit (called Company).
  • Each User needs to be licensed from within the Company where the Project is hosted.
  • Additional Users from inside or outside a Company have to get invited first.
  • After the invite is accepted the invitee registers to Kiptr to get access to the Company.
  • After the User has registered to more than one Company / Project he can switch between Companies.


Info: Licenses are allocated to a Company and assigned by a System Administrator. Users from outside the Company CANNOT "bring in" their own licenses, they need to get a license from the Company that hosts the Project.


Note:  Users who already have an Account for their Company have to re-register for the inviting Company. The re-registration requires a new Username (Email can be identical).
