Definition


Content is created, updated, or deleted. Every change is automatically recorded by the Kiptr Application after the change occurred.

  • The current Version of an Element is shown in Elements Details.
  • Creating a new Element sets the Version to the initial value of: 1.0
  • A change of the Element Status Field will increment the Version by +1 (e.g. from "In Progress" to "Complete")
  • A change of any other Element Field will increment the Version by +0.1 (e.g. for a Name change).
  • All recorded changes are listed in the Version History by selecting the "Version History" link in the Elements Details window.
  • The records include the:
    • Version 
    • Date and Time of Change
    • Activity: General description of the change
    • The user who performed the change


Info:  Select the individual Versions in the Version History to get detailed information about the specific changes performed in the Element Details Sub-Window.


Note:  Importing a Template into the Project will set all of its Element Versions to 1.0
